A road in Portugal Cove was closed this morning, after a snow plow snapped a utilitiy pole just west of the Bell Island ferry terminal. The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says a west-bound Transportation and Works' truck hit the pole shortly after 9:30 A.M.
